Kanawha Valley AppWorks respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Kanawha Valley AppWorks applications and services handle information.
This policy applies to applications published by Kanawha Valley AppWorks unless an individual application provides a separate privacy notice.
INFORMATION YOU ENTER INTO OUR APPS
Some Kanawha Valley AppWorks applications allow users to enter information necessary for the app to perform its intended function.
Unless otherwise stated in the App-Specific Information section below, information entered into our apps is stored locally on the user's device and is not automatically transmitted to Kanawha Valley AppWorks.
Our applications do not require user accounts unless specifically stated otherwise.
We do not sell personal information.
APP-SPECIFIC INFORMATION
ShiftSheet
ShiftSheet is an employee scheduling application.
Users may enter information including:
• Employee names
• Job titles or roles
• Employee availability
• Shift dates and times
• Break information
• PTO, sick, or off-day status
• Scheduling notes
• Preferred weekly hour limits
This information is stored locally on the user's device.
Kanawha Valley AppWorks does not receive, collect, upload, or remotely store scheduling information entered into ShiftSheet.
ShiftSheet does not require an account or login.
Information entered into ShiftSheet is used only to provide scheduling functionality, including displaying schedules, calculating scheduled hours, checking employee availability, identifying overtime or preferred-hour limits, and generating schedule exports.
EXPORTS AND SHARING
Some Kanawha Valley AppWorks applications may allow users to export or share information.
For example, ShiftSheet can export schedules as PDF, PNG, CSV, XLSX, and TXT files.
Exported information is only saved or shared when the user chooses to perform that action.
If a user sends an exported file to another application, cloud storage provider, messaging service, email provider, or other third party, that service may process the information according to its own privacy policy.
Kanawha Valley AppWorks does not control how third-party services selected by the user handle exported information.
ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING
Unless specifically disclosed in the App-Specific Information section, Kanawha Valley AppWorks applications do not contain third-party advertising trackers or behavioral advertising.
ShiftSheet does not contain advertising and does not use third-party analytics services to monitor how users interact with the app.
If these practices change in a future application, the relevant information will be disclosed in this Privacy Policy.
PURCHASES
Applications purchased through Google Play or another application marketplace are processed by that marketplace.
Kanawha Valley AppWorks does not directly receive or store users' payment card numbers, bank account information, or other financial account credentials.
Application marketplaces may provide Kanawha Valley AppWorks with limited purchase information necessary to manage sales, refunds, licensing, and customer support.
Payment and account information handled by an application marketplace is subject to that marketplace's own privacy policy and terms.
CONTACT AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT
If you contact Kanawha Valley AppWorks, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide, such as:
• Your email address
• Your name, if included
• The contents of your message
• Screenshots or files you choose to provide
• Device or application information you provide for troubleshooting
This information is used to respond to inquiries, provide support, troubleshoot problems, and maintain reasonable business records.
We do not sell information received through customer support or use it for behavioral advertising.
DATA SECURITY
Kanawha Valley AppWorks takes reasonable measures to protect information under our control.
For applications that store information locally, the information remains subject to the security protections of the user's device and operating system.
No method of electronic storage or communication can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Information stored locally by our applications remains on the user's device until it is edited or deleted within the application, the application's stored data is cleared through the device operating system, or the application is uninstalled.
Files exported from an application may remain on the user's device or in a third-party service after the application's local data is deleted or the application is uninstalled. Users are responsible for deleting exported files from locations where they have chosen to save or share them.
Information voluntarily sent to Kanawha Valley AppWorks for customer support may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Kanawha Valley AppWorks applications are not directed toward children unless specifically stated otherwise.
Kanawha Valley AppWorks does not knowingly collect personal information from children through ShiftSheet.
WEBSITE
The Kanawha Valley AppWorks website may be hosted or operated using third-party website services. Those providers may process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, and deliver the website.
Any information submitted voluntarily through website contact features will be used only for the purpose for which it was provided.
If Kanawha Valley AppWorks later enables additional analytics, advertising, account features, or other data collection on the website, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
FUTURE APPLICATIONS
Kanawha Valley AppWorks may release additional applications in the future.
If an application collects, transmits, stores, or shares information differently from the practices described above, its data practices will be added to the App-Specific Information section of this Privacy Policy or disclosed in a separate privacy notice.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated when our applications, services, or data practices change.
